Dr. Asante founded Grace-Lift Care Haven to support couples and siblings who want to remain together while getting the help they need. She envisioned a warm, intimate home where residents receive professional, individualized care and keep the comfort, privacy and relationships that make a place home.
Her experience
What she brings to older adults
Dr. Asante is a nurse practitioner prepared at the Doctor of Nursing Practice level, with more than 10 years of nursing experience and dual expertise in family practice and psychiatric mental health. Her background in social gerontology deepens her understanding of aging and what shapes quality of life.
Her strengths include primary care, psychiatric and mental health care, medication management, chronic-condition care and care coordination, gained across a variety of healthcare settings.
Her approach to care
She pairs evidence-based care with genuine human connection: listening to each person, learning their life story, honoring their preferences and partnering with their family. For her, aging well means keeping identity, relationships, independence, purpose and dignity.
As Founder and Clinical Leader, she works to build a culture where residents are seen, heard and valued, and families can trust that their loved ones are receiving thoughtful, attentive care.
Through Grace-Lift, Dr. Asante brings together her experience as a nurse, nurse practitioner, mental health provider, gerontology professional and healthcare leader to offer personalized assisted living.
